MAFS Australia’s Eliot Donovan is being a little chaos goblin on TikTok, with most of his admittedly hilarious clips jabbing and poking at his fellow season 12 cast members.

Eliot started off as perhaps the second most hated MAFS Australia groom, the first being Tim Gromie. But somehow, he’s managed to claw back his reality TV reputation by being genuinely funny on TikTok and Instagram. The Eliot Donovan renaissance should seriously be studied. With just under 300k followers on TikTok, the most of any MAFS Australia season 12 cast member, Eliot has been stirring the pot with comedy sketches, live reactions to the show, and shady cameos from the likes of Jamie Marinos, Adrian Araouzou, and Teejay Halkias.

When MAFS was still in its earliest days in Australia, most of Eliot Donovan’s TikToks centred around his bride, Lauren Hall. He poked fun at her graphic t-shirts and love of Margaritas before moving on to his second wife, Veronica Cloherty. Eliot reacted to viral moments in real time, from Veronica claiming she didn’t know his favourite colour to beating the “Don’t raise your voice at me” horse until it was bloodied and bruised.

It quickly became clear that Eliot fancies himself a would-be comedian. He put on sketch-style comedy clips about behind-the-scenes activity and was part of the joke in jabs directed at him. He was an unbothered king through and through.

Soon enough, TikTok told him to “take a break” because he was so active on the platform.

Jacqui Burfoot’s jarring activities have been a continuous source of entertainment throughout MAFS Australia, so naturally, Eliot had to take part as well. He exposed the “real Jacqui” on Reddit, but TikTok was where he truly shone. He stitched a video of Jacqui crying with Dr. Seuss’ Green Eggs and Ham, pretended to be the soundman during Jacqui’s date with Rory, and then brought the bit back a few weeks later when Jacqui and Clint Rice got engaged.

After Dave Hand and Jamie Marinos’ relationship began to tank, Eliot noticed a gap in the market and switched up his content style to fall in line with what everyone was talking about. His first Dave-centric TikTok came back in March when he said he needed a “6’5 body bag” after “seeing the state of Jamie’s heart.”

Eliot then entered his Charlie’s Angels era, taking on the role of the mysterious spymaster as Jamie, Beth Kelly, and Awhina Rutene popped up in several videos about his “many wives.” Little did we know this was the start of Jamie and Eliot’s romance.

Ramping up the beef, Eliot was soon posting TikToks with more tattoos and a nose ring as he channelled Dave’s response to his brewing relationship with Jamie.

Teejay Halkias has been both a willing participant in Eliot’s TikTok reign of terror and a subject, putting on a sketch about his backup bride as Eliot sported a wig to play the woman. His dedication to the bit was genuinely inspiring. He also poked fun at Teejay’s insane body count and his history of posting cheesy TikTok videos.

Most recently, Dave Hand’s on-screen hubby, Billy Belcher, was the subject of Eliot’s TikToks. Unlike some of the other videos, which seemed to be well-spirited yet shady jabs, there actually seems to be some beef between the MAFS grooms.

“How good is it living rent-free in someone’s head? Eliot making TikToks constantly, about me, is brilliant. How much does it cost for me to live in there?” Billy questioned. “Because I’m living free all week.”

Eliot soon responded, posting a TikTok about beautiful women actually living in his head rent-free.
