It’s officially that time: Nominations are OPEN for The Lincoln Tab’s BNOC 2025

Attention all Lincoln students, its that iconic time of the year- bigger than the final Quack of the year, better than any Superbull and even more exciting than getting your fav spot in the library… it’s time to nominate your campus BNOC for the academic year 24/25.

For anyone who has the incredible misfortune of not having experienced BNOC season before, it’s really as easy as Lincoln beating Hull in Varsity.

BNOC stands for Big Name On Campus, and is decided by none other than Lincoln students. You can nominate your housemates, your mortal enemy, your campus crush, there is really no limit!

You can either nominate BGU or Lincoln Uni students, you could even nominate yourself.

Being named BNOC is basically bigger than receiving a knighthood, or getting a Quack duck, so please, take it as seriously as we do. Only the truest icons are nominated, and then once voting season is upon us, students in Lincoln will get to vote for the nominated students with the biggest BNOC aura.

Close Blackboard, put away your laptops, and temporarily abandon your dissertation, because the deadline for nominations is Thursday 17th April at 2pm.

All nominated candidates will be contacted on Instagram by our lovely editorial team so make sure to check your message requests if you want to be in with a chance to win.
