The MAFS Australia reunion sounds absolutely feral, here’s everything we know so far
I NEED this now
MAFS Australia season 12 is almost over in its home country, and while we in the UK still have weeks of chaos to look forward to, Australians are now waiting for the reunion to drop. It’s reportedly super beefy, with secret engagements and even more secret relationships coming to light.
Reports suggest the following cast members are returning for the reunion: Jacqui Burfoot, Clint Rice, Awhina Rutene, Ryan Donnelly, Jamie Marinos, Beth Kelly, Carina Mirabile, Sierah Swepstone, Rhi Disljenkovic, Katie Johnstone, Ashleigh Ackerman, Teejay Halkias, Eliot Donovan, Dave Hand, Paul Antione, Billy Belcher, Tony Mojanovski and Adrian Araouzou. There have also been some boycotts, but more on that later.
Here’s everything we know following the release of a teaser earlier this week.
First of all, when is it?
As mentioned above, people in Australia have now viewed a teaser for the upcoming MAFS reunion following the explosive final vows. They only have a few days to wait, with the reunion coming in two parts on April 6 and April 7. The first episode will be a classic dinner party, followed by one more bout on the experts’ couches the following night.
As we know, we UK viewers have to wait a little bit longer for the MAFS season 12 reunion because episodes are shown here roughly four weeks after initially dropping. With that considered we’re looking at early May, but that’s yet to be confirmed.
There’s a secret engagement?!
Reports have suggested that a bride and groom from season 12 are now engaged after a rollercoaster of a time on the show. Is it Adrian and Awhina? Of course not; it’s perhaps the only healthy relationship on the show, Jeff Gobbels and Rhi Disljenkovic.

“Don’t be surprised if Rhi and Jeff arrive at the reunion already engaged—for real,” an insider told New Idea. “Things are very serious between them and announcing they’re planning a real-life wedding at the reunion would be the perfect way to end their time in the experiment.”
We know a few juicy details about the reunion already
In the teaser for the reunion, we were clued into a few interesting details about the state of the MAFS marriages five months after filming ended. Major moments will be Jacqui Burfoot and Clint Rice’s secret relationship coming to light and Clint’s treatment of Jamie at the retreat, according to reports.
“Ryan doesn’t take it well and has a go at Jacqui. He was intimidating her and calling her names, but Awhina stands up for the bride,” an Insider revealed.
Teejay even referred to the two-part reunion as “absolutely hectic”, telling Chattr: “If you think that dinner parties throughout the season were tumultuous, you need to wait for this one, because this one is absolutely hectic. And yeah, I think I am at the forefront of some of it as well, too.”
Jamie Marinos also described the event as chaotic, revealing to Pedestrian: “It is a lot having that many people at one Dinner Party like you can I could barely hear what was going on from one side to the other, to that many people. So, I mean, you’ve seen this season.
“No matter if there are five of us that get together or 30 of us that get together, it’s always going to be chaos. There’s a few people I don’t want to see, but that’s just like, that’s just life.”
Some MAFS Australia cast members are boycotting the reunion
Though most cast members will be involved in the reunion, there are reportedly four people who are boycotting it after a terrible experience on the show.
Wedding DJ Morena Farina told Yahoo earlier: “Fool me once, not twice. No, I declined. They said to me, ‘You’ve got an obligation.’ I have no obligations. I’m done.
Lauren Hall, Tim Gromie, and Jake Luik are also reportedly skipping their comeback moments, but don’t worry, they’ll still be enough messy in the forms of Jacqui Burfoot, Eliot Donovan, and Adrian Araouzou. Veronica Cloherty is the only cast member who has seemingly been omitted from marketing, so we don’t yet know her fate at the reunion.
