Luxury Leeds student accommodation with spa and bowling lanes completed
‘We’re proud to have helped bring new life to Brotherton House, ensuring this landmark building continues to serve future generations’
A luxury Leeds student accommodation with a spa and bowling lane has been completed.
Over 10 years in the making, Brotherton House on Grace Street now boasts the newest, “hotel-style” student housing option.
Study Inn have announced the completion of the second phase of the building’s development, with the 15-storey tower block now holding 385 high-quality rooms, The Yorkshire Evening Post reports
State-of-the-art amenities include a spa, cinema room and yoga studio.
Leeds-based property business, J Pullans & Sons, bought the previous city centre police headquarters in 2012.
The first phase of the project involved constructing a 163-room site which preserved the unique character of the location.
But, in 2022, J Pullans & Sons expanded its hopes for the project, partnering with Study Inn to commence with phase two of the development.
The second phase, comprising a 15-storey new build alongside Brotherton House, has added 222 additional rooms. This includes a selection of en-suite serviced apartments and serviced studios.
The scheme offers wellness, entertainment, maintenance and English language lessons on-site.
The new build features photovoltaic panels and air source heat pumps. These have been installed to minimise its environmental impact, and off-site highway improvements were also carried out.
Simon Liversage, managing director of developments at Study Inn Group, said: “We design, develop, and operate our schemes with our in-house, integrated team.
“This development highlights our commitment to reducing our carbon footprint while delivering exceptional accommodation that prioritises both sustainability and an outstanding resident experience.”
