The six unbearable moments that prove just how out of touch Georgia Toffolo and James Watt are

Can they just buy an island and go away?

Georgia Toffolo and James Watt are now officially married but despite their best efforts to be a relatable couple, they’ve proven time and time again they simply don’t understand everyday people.

I loved Georgia Toffolo in the earliest days of her reality TV career when it was somewhat easier to look past the glaring obvious Tory exterior. But it’s become considerably harder in the last few years – especially after hitching to the worst CEO in Great Britain and outwardly admitting to being besties with Boris Johnson’s father.

Here are the SIX moments that make Georgia and James the most clueless celebrity couple in 2025.

James questioned getting married because of tax reasons

Earlier this year, James asked for help on LinkedIn after his tax advisor warned that he would lose EIS tax relief if he married Georgia within three years. This was because James invested in his fiance’s dog food business.

“Should I delay marrying Georgia Toffolo? I need some help guys,” he questioned. “If I marry Georgia within three years of investing, I become a ‘connected person’ under HMRC rules, and I lose the EIS tax relief.”

He the probed his followers with the following options and asked for their advice, “A) Love always wins – take the tax relief hit” or “B) True love can wait for three years – secure the relief.”

With an estimated net worth of £262 million, people questioned why it was even an issue.

They have quarterly relationship reviews

On her TikTok account, Georgia revealed that she and James have quarterly relationship reviews to ensure their relationship is on the right track.

“My fiance and I do a quarterly review of our relationship,” she said. “People might think it’s a bit weird but we think it’s really normal.”

To conduct the reviews they start by exchanging what they love most about one another before moving on to what they love about the relationship. Georgia and James then exchange criticisms and she said it could be quite “savage.”

“I feel like if we don’t nip in the bud these tiny completely irrelevant things like ‘I don’t like your lip balm’, they can turn into bigger, major things that actually could affect your relationship,” Toffolo explained. “You walk away with having an appreciation of the things your partner values about not only you but what you have together. I highly recommend it as state of the nation for all relationships.”

James wants to be the UK’s Elon Musk

Just when you thought James couldn’t get any more clueless, he shared his intentions to follow in the footsteps of Elon Musk with his own government scheme based on the US’ DOGE (Department of Government Efficiency). James said his “unofficial, underground” would help a “broken” Britain transform into “the strongest economy in the world.”

“This isn’t about party politics. I remain agnostic,” he said in an Instagram post.

If not about party politics, why does it reek of Tory stink??

Their wedding, enough sad

Everything James and Georgia do is based on flashing their insane wealth, which is why their toned-down wedding seemed more like a PR stunt than a genuine display of love. They posed for pictures on a fishing boat – a call back to James’ youth – and harped on how they were so original for having a non-traditional wedding.

On TikTok, Georgia echoed the “non-traditional” elements of her wedding, revealing that James was having a best woman, she wasn’t wearing a traditional dress, and James wasn’t getting a wedding ring. It was giving “Look how normal we are” and literally no one was buying it.

Toff’s dog food business

Back in January, Georgia shared the hardships of launching her own raw dog food brand called Wild Pack. She said she massively struggled after using all of her savings to launch the business, and it was only through her uncomparable graft that she managed to make it work.

It definitely had nothing to do with James’ investment.

Why does everyone hate my boyf?

@georgiatoffolo

Addressing something I’ve purposefully chosen to ignore for ages but needed to get off my chest while having a try on… Option 1 cardi or Option 2 mad coat? Phew I feel better already 😂 honest thoughts welcome in the comments, please be kind 🙏 I got cold feet about uploading this but have pressed on because the fashion is too good not to lol

In November, Georgia posted a lengthy TikTok complete with receipts that called out the “bad press” who had been hammering her soon-to-be husband for years. She admitted to consciously ignoring it for a long time but could no longer stay quiet.

You have to be a specific brand of clueless to remain blissfully ignorant of the supposed “bad press” your husband has been getting for years. Maybe – just maybe – he’s the problem? Between BrewDog ditching the real living wage and James’ boatload of controversies, he’s really given the “bad press” a lot to work with.

Now that the two worst people in the UK are married, I’m betting this list will be updated quite often.
