Inside Lauren from MAFS Australia’s life when she isn’t wishing she was born in the 1920s

Lauren from MAFS Australia 2025 is instantly one of the characters you feel like you just NEED to know more about. Mostly because she’s coming across, in the nicest way possible, rather cursed. So far, what we know about Lauren is she’s one of those people who say things like “I was born in the wrong era” – aka, she longs and yearns to be from the 1920s. For some reason. Even though Australia gave women the right to vote in the last 1800s / early 1900s – it still wouldn’t have been the best place. But such is her quest for “a gentleman”, traditional values and “old school romance”. But what exactly does Lauren get up to before she was on MAFS Australia 2025 and what’s her life actually like? Here’s a bit of insight.

The basics

Lauren from this year’s MAFS Australia is 37 years old. She’s a Queensland girly, and has spent most of her time telling us she’s into old school traditional relationship values and wants to be a “homemaker” – aka, looks after her man. O-kay.

For work, Lauren runs her own business centred around gifting. It’s called Mayfair Lane Gifts and from what we’ve seen of Lauren so far on the actual show it’s all very on brand.

Admittedly, very, very cute. Dogs will always soften the cynic in me.

Err, she’s got a major connection to Jono from last year’s MAFS

Apparently the two were together for three months and it ended in January 2023. Producers of this year’s series were allegedly aware of Jono and Lauren’s history and according to Daily Mail Australia got her to wipe all signs of him from her Instagram.

She went skiing recently. Why does everyone on reality TV make me feel absolutely skint? Her Instagram is filled with holidays to London, Japan, St Tropez and Lake Como in the space of a few years. Wow.
