Three of the Love Is Blind cast were at last season’s reunion and this is who they chose?!

If you watched the Love Is Blind season seven reunion, you might have a vague recollection of some of the season eight cast being there.

The reunion launched on Netflix in October 2024 and saw the cast from Washington D.C. reunite after the juicy season.

Right at the end, they chatted to three of the new cast who were sitting in the audience, and we had no idea who they were at the time.

However, now we’ve met the season eight cast, the selection they chose for the season seven reunion seems so strange.

The people Netflix chose to appear at the reunion as a sneak peek were Alex, Britney and Joey, which people think is really random.

Alex didn’t make it past the pods, we hardly got to know Britney at all and Joey is the only one who actually got married and is a big part of the show.

However, even he is a pretty boring character compared to some of the others and doesn’t bring much drama or conversation to the show at all.

They obviously didn’t want to give any spoilers away, but you would’ve thought they’d choose some of the bigger personalities like Dave, Ben or even Madison!

Apparently, Britney did actually get engaged to Mo Ndiaye after breaking things off with Devin Buckley, but it was never shown in the series.

Perhaps the producers were expecting her to be a much bigger part of the show, but they reportedly chose not to go on the post-engagement honeymoon trip.

At the reunion, Alex spoke about why dating in Minneapolis hadn’t worked out for him, saying: “I personally just prioritized other things in my life and work and friends and travel.”

“It’s such a small community, it’s not like a major city but it’s also not a small town so you kinda see the same people over and over and it’s a small bar scene.”

He said he just never found the right person that “clicked” for him but was excited to be on Love Is Blind. Sadly, he didn’t find anyone on the show either.

Some people are arguing Netflix hadn’t made the show at that point, so didn’t know who was going to be a big character.

However, season eight was shot in February 2024 and the season seven reunion didn’t air until late October, so they must have started editing already.
