Jay Cohen is a 63-year-old producer and talent agent. He’s a partner and Head of Film Finance and Distribution at the Gersh Agency, so it sounds like he’s pretty important in his role.

In October 2020, Us Weekly confirmed that Michelle and Jay had been dating for “over a year.” Likely, they met years earlier, since Michelle joined the Gersh Agency back in 2014, so it was a long time coming. They kept their relationship really private, but Michelle and Jay did share a few endearing social media posts of each other while they were together.

Less than two weeks before she tragically passed away, Michelle shared a Valentine’s Day post of her and Jay dressed as Jekyll and Hyde for Halloween.
