Even Selena Gomez was weirded out by Benny Blanco’s new gross shower confession

Benny Blanco has developed quite a reputation for not having the best hygiene, after he not only previously admitted to not showering very frequently but was also caught chewing gum with his mouth open at the Golden Globes, sometimes it’s a wonder he and Selena Gomez are engaged.

Benny Blanco previously spoke to People about his showering habits, revealing that he “doesn’t shower every day” as he wants there to be “an aroma” when he walks by, lucky Selena Gomez.

He admitted: “I also don’t believe in always shampooing your hair or conditioning your hair. I’m really clean, but I don’t shower every day.

“Some people I know shower two to three times a day, but I feel like the oils on your skin don’t have time to rejuvenate and get juicy. I want there to be an aroma as I’m walking by.”

And now in a new joint interview with Interview, Benny Blanco doubled down on his showering habits and revealed something that even grossed Selena Gomez out.

When asked who takes the longest showers, Selena immediately pointed to Benny who explained: “OK, I might not get to shower every day, but when I do, when I feel like I deserve it, I’m in there for so long contemplating life. I sit down in every shower I go into.”

He continued: “Have you ever cried in the shower? It’s incredible.”

Benny then asked Selena: “Do you cry in the shower? Sometimes you just have to have a good cry.”

He then revealed something rather macabre about his shower time and admitted he gets “death realisations” and needs to “cry” about it all for a bit. Ngl, why is that the most relatable thing he’s ever said?

He continued: “I always get death realisations when I’m in the shower. No, like, I realise I’m gonna die, but it’s in the shower. And then I cry about it a little bit, and then it goes away, and then I feel great because I’m in the warm water.”

Selena responded by shockingly saying “whoa” before raising the question cards to cover her face whilst looking slightly mortified.
