The messy reason Casey had a huge cut on his head during the Love Island All Stars final

Last night during the Love Island All Stars final, people noticed winner Casey had a huge cut across the top of his head. And of course, there’s an explanation behind the injury he got whilst he was in the villa.

It turns out, the cut is the mark left behind from a pretty serious incident in which Casey was injured, and had to pause filming for a decent chunk of time. It happened on Saturday, during a break the Islanders were having in the villa. The final was live on Monday, so his injury was quite fresh.

Casey passed out and suffered the head injury during the incident. At the time, Casey was outside the front of the villa, in the designated area for Islanders to go to when they want to smoke or vape.

Casey is said to have felt “wobbly” and then passed out. He hit his head in the fall, and had to wear a bandage afterwards. He was unable to film for a number of hours.

A source told The Sun: “All of a sudden Casey felt wobbly and then passed out. He bashed his head on the way down and everyone rushed to attend him. He came round quite quickly and was checked over by the medics but then had to wear a plaster and bandage on his head.

“It meant he was pulled from filming for hours. Everything is manic at the moment getting the content needed working up to Monday’s final so losing such a key cast member as Casey wasn’t ideal to say the least.”

A show source added: “Casey is absolutely fine. He was quickly checked over by the team’s dedicated on site medic.”

He was clearly back to his normal self by the time the final was filmed, and managed to put on a brave face when he and Gabby were crowned winners!
