All the best free Sims 4 content you need to take full advantage of and download immediately

Get your boots filled!

Whilst The Sims 4 might be free to download, as we all know by the time you’ve bought even a few expansion packs you might as well have put a down payment on a house.

But that doesn’t mean that there’s no good free content out there you shouldn’t be taking advantage of and in honour of The Sims’ 25th anniversary there’s a whole host of free items.

At the start of this month, The Sims 4 base game received a huge update with over 70 free new items being added to the game. These included new Create a Sim options, featuring two new hairstyles, baby hairs and a slightly creepy goatee option for those who like that kind of vibe.

There were also new clothing options added including a new turtleneck and bodysuit, alongside jackets, jeans and bike shorts plus much more. There’s also going to be new accessory options such as jewellery, shoes and hats to really complete the look.

And if you’re not already playing live mode, you should get on it as starting from February 4th a limited-time event was introduced called Blast from the Past, allowing players to unlock a lot of additional free content for The Sims 4.

Each milestone you complete earns you a new nostalgic reward inspired by the early 2000s. We’re talking telephones, funky alarm clicks, inflatable chairs (obviously) and a new loveseat.

Alongside these, EA and The Epic Games store are known to sometimes offer packs or even entire expansion packs for free for limited times. In the past, these include the Blooming Rooms Kit and My First Pet Stuff Pack.

If you’re an EA Play member you also get free access to The Sims 4 Get to Work Expansion Pack, whilst EA Play Pro members get both the previous pack as well as the Toddler Stuff pack.
