From new packs to nostalgic events: All the fun free Sims 4 updates for the 25th anniversary
Big yes to all of these
February 4th marks the 24th anniversary of The Sims, and as such EA have planned a lot of free updates and nostalgic events for The Sims 4. From new content updates to remodelled townie houses, there’s a lot to be excited about. So, let’s have a look at all the free Sims 4 content that’s coming our way for the 25th anniversary!
On February 4th, The Sims 4 base game will be receiving a huge update with over 70 new items being added to the game. These include new Create a Sim options, featuring two new hairstyles, baby hairs and a slightly creepy goatee option for those who like that kind of vibe.
There will also be new clothing options including a new turtleneck and bodysuit, alongside jackets, jeans and bike shorts plus much more. There’s also going to be new accessory options such as jewellery, shoes and hats to really complete the look.
And we can’t forget items for your humble (or luxurious) abode as the update promises new window, door and wood finish options for every type of swelling out there.
On February 4th a new limited-time event called Blast from the Past will begin for live mode, where rewards are inspired from the early 2000s. We’re talking telephones, funky alarm clicks, inflatable chairs (obviously) and a new loveseat.
