Donald Trump was sworn in as the 47th President of the United States on Monday, and though his drastic policy changes are obviously the focus of criticism, there’s still a large portion of the internet that is still stuck on memes of Melania’s gigantic hat – I am one of them.

American designer Adam Lippes put together Melania’s admittedly sophisticated ensemble for the inauguration, but milliner Eric Javits created the outrageous hat. Turns out it was deliberately designed to be huge to prevent it from flying away under intense wind strain.

The hat itself has sparked outlandish theories and now a flurry of hilarious memes that compare the First Lady to Michael Jackson, The Hamburgler, and a sleep paralysis demon.
