Let’s find out whether Eleonora actually sold the $45 million penthouse on Selling The City
I need answers!
I’m an absolute sucker for any Netflix reality TV show revolving around property and major drama, with Selling The City delivering strongly on all fronts.
There’s nothing better than seeing the absolutely insane amount of money some of the houses go for, and the $45 million penthouse Eleonora was in charge of listing on Selling The City was no different.
The stunning $45 million Gramercy Park penthouse was brought up in episode four of Selling The City, with Eleonora enlisting the help of co-star Gisselle in order to get it sold.
The penthouse features five bedrooms and bathrooms, an infinity pool, multiple outdoor terraces and a key to an exclusive gated park. All in all, it sounds very boujee with a hefty price tag to match.
However, during the show the property didn’t sell and we were left on a cliffhanger about whether or not Eleonora managed to sell the property or not. So, let’s find out the current status of the penthouse.
Sadly it seems she wasn’t able to sell the penthouse, as it’s still on the market and there’s been a dramatic decrease in the asking price. The property was originally listed for $45 million but now it’s on for $32 million, a huge $13 million reduction.
This significant price slash also means that even if Eleonora manages to sell the property next season the amount of commission she’ll make off the sale will be hugely reduced. Her original commission would have been an eye watering $1.35 million, but now it’s looking like it could be well under one million dollars.
