Wait, did Sandy and J.R. sleep together during The Ultimatum? She reveals the cut scenes
We all need to know
Season three of The Ultimatum on Netflix has been filled with drama. And lots of the drama in The Ultimatum has come from Sandy and J.R. Truly, a rollercoaster.
Sandy joined The Ultimatum with her partner Nick, and J.R. with his, Zaina. During the “trial marriages” Sandy and J.R. were together. Sandy’s partner Nick was with Vanessa, who later quit the show leaving Nick on his own. However, Sandy stuck to the show, and continued to get to know J.R.
There’s been a lot of talk of how close Sandy and J.R. got during their time together on The Ultimatum. So here’s what we know about what actually went down.
How close did Sandy and J.R. get during The Ultimatum season three?
There’s no denying the pair were intimate – it was literally caught on camera. Sandy and J.R. told their respective partners they had kissed twice during the trial marriages, despite it seemingly being caught on camera many more times. There was one scene that made it really look as though Sandy and J.R. slept together during the show.
Netflix definitely edited it to look as though the deed was done. However, there has been no confirmation they did, and Netflix has been known in the past on its dating shows – cough Perfect Match cough – to literally keep explicit scenes in. So, if you really had to guess, I’d probably say they didn’t sleep together, Netflix just wanted to allude to it.

Sandy has also spoken out about the show’s editing on her Instagram story. “Okay, I know it looks like there was absolutely nothing there but surface level, like physical stuff, but we don’t get to see any of the hours and hours of conversation that me and J.R. had,” she said.
“We’re both Scorpios, obviously. We have very similar love languages, and we just had a lot of the same spiritual beliefs.” Is she saying more did go down? Or is she actually saying they spent a lot more time getting to know each other on a deeper level, and not just kissing like the Netflix edit suggested?
But, we do know that unless straight up asked, Sandy won’t give away anything. “You never directly asked me if anything else happened,” she said to her partner Nick previously, when discussing being intimate with J.R. So, is all we need to do ask? Roll on the reunion!
