I’m A Celeb is over, but these pictures of Coleen Rooney through the years will last forever
If a WAG culture museum opened, I’d have an annual pass
The word “vibes” gets thrown around a lot these days. But you know one thing that should be placed under the dictionary definition of vibes and stay there forever? Old pictures of Coleen Rooney. She shaped WAG culture back in the day, and I demand more is said about how much of an icon she was then, and still is now.
Coleen might not have won I’m A Celeb, narrowly coming second to McFly’s Danny Jones. But, she will forever be a WAG queen. TikTok has been filled with old pictures of Coleen Rooney from her supporting-my-husband-in-the-crowd days, and I am obsessed.

Coleen has been married to Wayne Rooney since 2008, and the early 2000s and 2010s were the peak of football WAG culture. Consequently, she would be snapped in the stands watching England alongside the likes of Victoria Beckham and Cheryl Cole, and occasionally her now nemesis, Rebekah Vardy.
She’s also been papped at public events, and she’s done photo shoots for her numerous side quests over the years. Brand deals aren’t something just the Islanders do, the WAGs were releasing clothing lines with places like Littlewoods and Very.co.uk before Love Island even existed.
Everything about her previous looks are iconic. She followed every trend down to an inch. Thin eyebrows? Coleen was there. Spray tans that turn you orange? So there. Kohl eyeliner? She had it. French tips and huge earrings? A staple. Quiff fringe and even bigger curls? Coleen wouldn’t leave the house without them.

Coleen Rooney was reportedly paid £1.5million for the jungle, but did she need it? No she didn’t. Her career has been going on for years, and it’s estimated she and Wayne are worth around £155million between them. Coleen has published six books and had a fashion deal with Asda.
If a museum to this era of culture opened, I’d be the first to buy an annual pass. Hang them up for all to see!
