The net worths of the I’m A Celebrity 2024 cast prove who’s not in the jungle for the money

Coleen Rooney really doesn’t need the cash

| UPDATED

Everybody stay calm – I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here! is returning to our screens for November 2024. Can’t wait to spend three weeks of my life watching strangers eat beans and argue. To help you brush up on who all the new campmates are, here’s a rundown of the I’m A Celebrity cast’s net worths, and how they all amassed such whopping amounts of money.

Although there have been plenty of rumours about our queen Maura Higgins entering the jungle, she hasn’t been confirmed as part of the official line-up yet. She might be one of the celebs who makes a bombshell appearance into the camp after a week? I certainly hope so.

So, here’s what we know about the net worths of the confirmed I’m A Celebrity 2024 cast.

GK Barry

Brace yourselves: Our fav TikToker-turned-podcaster is entering the jungle. She’s been caught up in a few controversies recently, such as interviewing Bonnie Blue. She hasn’t been famous long enough for us to figure out what her net worth is. GK Barry has started appearing on Loose Women, and we know that the biggest stars on that show get paid £3,000 per episode. She’s reportedly set to be a millionaire after appearing on I’m A Celeb. So it’s safe to say that GK Barry can probably afford avocados without going on I’m A Celeb.

The star has been raking it in since launching her music career in 2005. N-Dubz’s fourth album Timeless came out in 2023. It’s safe to say that her appearance on I’m A Celebrity will boost her Spotify streaming numbers. Her net worth is apparently around £3 million.

Alan Halsall

The actor has been playing Tyrone Dobbs on Coronation Street for longer than university students have been alive. He now gets paid upwards of £100,00 for each series of the show, making his net worth about £4 million. Maybe he’s signed up for the show because he fancied a holiday in Australia?

Danny Jones

For those of you under the age of 30, Danny Jones was in a boy band called McFly which was apparently cool once, when MySpace existed and jeans were low-waisted and dinosaurs roamed the earth. His net worth is £4 million.

Oti Mabuse

She’s a professional dancer on Strictly who won the show twice. Her older sister Motsi is one of the judges. Strictly pros are believed to make somewhere between £35,000 to £50,000 per season. Oti became a judge on The Masked Dancer, then Dancing on Ice. We don’t know her exact net worth. Although, according to The Sun, the company she runs with her husband, Pure Mabuse Entertainment Ltd, is worth £510,953.

Dean McCullough

He’s a presenter on BBC Radio 1, which is why few people under the age of 25 have heard of him. They don’t play enough Charli XCX on there. The Daily Mail reckons he’s made £1 million from being a radio presenter. This makes him leagues richer than us mere mortals, but at the poorer end of the I’m A Celeb 2024 contestants.

Barry McGuigan

He’s a boxer who is famous to your parents, but probably not to you. His business side hustles haven’t really taken off and he was involved in a very expensive legal battle with another boxer called Carl Frampton in 2000. I’m guessing he’s excited by the paycheck for I’m A Celeb.

Jane Moore

She’s a TV presenter whose journalistic experience ranged from writing columns for The Sunday Times to appearing on Loose Women. Her net worth might be less than it once was – lots of media outlets have reported on her legal bills following her recent divorce.

Melvin Odoom

His lengthy career as a TV presenter has apparently made him a fortune of £3 million. His media production company Future Media Productions Limited is worth £178,100, according to The Sun.

Coleen Rooney

The wife of Wayne Rooney, aka Wagatha Christie, aka your mother’s favourite person, is reportedly the show’s most expensive signing ever. Apparently ITV paid her an eye-watering £1.5 million to appear on TV for three weeks?

However, this £1.5 million is just a drop in the ocean for her. OK! magazine reckons she and her husband have at least £155 million between them. This easily makes her the I’m A Celebrity 2024 cast member with the highest net worth. Coleen has embarked on many successful business side quests of her own. She’s published six books and had a fashion deal with Asda.

It’s safe to say that Coleen Rooney doesn’t need the money from I’m A Celebrity. Maybe she’s hoping to reconnect with nature in the Australian jungle?
