And whoever was running his social media when he was in the jungle was having the time of their life churning out memes. Dean hasn’t missed a trick either since getting his phone back, and one of the first thing he addressed was how his hilarious old Britain’s Got Talent audition resurfaced when he was on I’m A Celeb – and he just released a statement on the BGT fiasco. I’m crying.

In a video where Dean declared “I’d like to say a few words”, Dean addressed the BGT video going viral when he was in the I’m A Celeb jungle saying “Yeah about that, so 13 years ago I was in a dance group and yes we did indeed audition for Britain’s Got Talent and I’ve spent the last 13 years trying to erase it from my memory, heal from the trauma and get the videos taken down with legal letters.

“Turns out when you go on another ITV show they will release the tapes and ignite a whole lot of fury and bring it all back up again. Look, I would like to tell you that I was coerced into this with money and promises of fame and fortune and life-changing opportunities. But in actual fact I had glittery hot pants, feather necklaces and dancing around on stage for Simon Cowell.

“And I went, ‘yeah. That sounds right up my street. I’m in.”

Honestly, at this point Ant McPartlin’s silence on the BGT audition Dean did is deafening. My goals for 2025 is the Glambassadors reuniting for a world tour.
