Axed I’m A Celeb contestant reveals strict rules campmates must follow after being evicted
If you think it’s huge dinners and relaxation, you’re wrong
According to an axed I’m A Celeb campmate, the contestants have very strict rules to follow from the producers from the moment of their eviction to once the show is completely finished. Ex-campmate Gillian McKeith had some interesting insights to offer about the show as soon as you’re evicted.
The I’m A Celeb stars are reportedly issued very strict rules from the producers after they get voted out of the jungle in the eviction process. Gillian described what really happened to The Express as “a flurry of activity.”
“You’re given one minute to say your goodbyes, you run around like a crazy person, and then you’ve got to get your stuff across that bridge before a minute is up,” she explained.
“As soon as you cross the bridge, Ant and Dec sit you down and interview you, show you all your best bits and talk about your memorable moments. Then they say ‘you’re a celebrity, get yourself out of here’ and you then make your way across the bridge with all the fireworks and all the fun stuff that goes on on that bridge as you’re crossing it.”
Gillian then said after you have your emotional reunion with your family or friend at the end, you get to stay in a six-star Versace Hotel which is “plush, luxurious, only the best.”
“But I wasn’t there for very long as I spent most of my time in the jungle, as we all know, doing all these nasty trials.” Despite the fancy hotel with room service, campmates are apparently given another warning when exiting the jungle not to go eating everything in sight after two to three weeks of being starving.
Gillian said: “In terms of when you’re able to eat properly after you leave the jungle, you are advised to eat small portions because you haven’t had much to eat in the jungle and your tummy has shrunk a little bit. So they advise not to gorge on lots of food because you might end up bloated, gassy and in pain, so take it easy is the advice.”
