These two editing errors prove someone’s really slacking on the I’m A Celeb production team

You have to laugh

There were two massive editing errors during I’m A Celeb 2024 on Friday night, and now people are questioning if someone from the production team is playing games with us.

The episode on Friday seemed all normal. There was a trial, Maura and Reverend Richard were still pretending to be living in hell in the Junkyard, and Ant and Dec were telling silly jokes. But then, a few of the cast members went to the Bush Telegraph. Then things got a bit weird.

Both Danny Jones and Maura Higgins went to do small interviews to camera during the show, as celebs do constantly to talk about what’s going on in the jungle. However, according to the editing team, it wasn’t Danny or Maura at all.

When Danny went to say his piece, he was labelled as Radio 1’s Dean McCullough, and when Maura went in to chat, she was called DJ, Melvin Odoom. A mess! “The celebs have really transformed beyond recognition,” one person said, attaching screenshots of the two I’m A Celeb editing errors.

Another person added: “I know being in the jungle changes you, but wow! Melvin Odoom looks amazing!” TV updates account, SuperTV, said: “What’s going on down in the jungle editing booth?!”.

“The editing team tonight needs to be fired,” someone brutally said. “They’ve mixed up campmates names several times.” For a while, whoever is running Melvin’s Twitter profile joined in the joke, changing his profile picture to Maura and announcing the change on his feed. He’s, unfortunately, since changed it back.

Seriously though, how does this happen? And not once, but twice?! Now I’m going to have to watch out for this every single time a celeb goes to do their interviews.
