Avoiding exes to ghosting production: The MAFS UK cast members refusing to attend the reunion

A lot of them have outright ‘refused’ to film

Despite MAFS UK 2024 coming to a close very soon, we haven’t got long to wait until the  “explosive” reunion which is set to feature a wild “showdown” at the dinner table.

The reunion will take place next week following final vows and will be split into two episodes across Wednesday and Thursday.

As for what will happen during each of the episodes, on Wednesday a “festering feud between two brides is re-ignited, while a husband and wife’s dinner table clash escalates into one the most explosive showdowns in the show’s history.”

Then on Thursday there will be one final MAFS UK 2024 reunion ceremony during which the group will meet with the experts.

According to Channel 4: “As the couples take to the couch, Mel, Paul and Charlene hold people to account, and try to help clear the air following the dramatic events of the dinner party the night before.

“While some couples have much to celebrate and look forward to, others are confronted with the difficult task of addressing what went wrong.”

However not all of the MAFS UK 2024 cast will be in attendance, as some of them have reportedly “refused” to attend, despite attempts by production. So, let’s find out who won’t be sitting down at the dinner table.

Eve

Eve certainly caused her fair share of drama whilst on MAFS, although it seemed like she and Charlie left before they’d even begun.

She’s now got a new girlfriend and despite producers “hoping” she’d come back to film, she’s “refused to.”

A source told The Sun: “Producers were really hoping Eve would return for the reunion episodes to give some closure to her rocky relationship with Charlie and reflect on what went wrong.

“But she refused to film and hasn’t been in touch with show bosses or the rest of the cast since.

“Eve clearly wants to move on from the show but it’s a shame she didn’t return to reflect on everything, especially after viewers were invested in her and Charlie’s journey.”

Alex

Despite Alex seemingly getting back together with his ex Holly, it seems he also won’t be accompanying her to the reunion.

A source told The Sun: “Alex didn’t film either of the two reunion episodes, which seemed really odd to the rest of the cast.

“It was unclear whether it was Channel 4’s decision or his own, but there was a lot of chatter about it amongst the brides and grooms who expected him to be there with his ex, Holly.”

Ross

Okay this one is bonus because whilst Ross will be attending the reunion airing next week, there is reportedly a Christmas special in the works, although this has not been confirmed by Channel 4.

It seems that following their less than amicable split, Ross isn’t too keen on coming face to face with Sacha again and is being difficult about filming for the Christmas special.

A source told The Sun: “Producers are shooting another Christmas special, bringing back some of the biggest MAFS faces from this series and the previous one.

“They are really keen to get Ross, given all the drama that has gone down after he dumped her following filming wrapping, but he doesn’t want to face her.

“He has been avoiding production calls and won’t commit. Bosses aren’t giving up and will keep trying to persuade him, but as of right now he wants to move past the show and focus on his new relationship.

“It’s a real blow for the production as the end of series reunion filmed before the latest run started airing, so they wanted to get back all the biggest characters to delve into the various dramas and feuds that have developed between the cast while the show has gone out on TV.”
