David Henrie and Dan Benson are having messy Wizards of Waverly Place drama right now

David Henrie is currently beefing with Wizards of Waverly Place alum Dan Benson after the two shaded each other following the reboot launching. Dan Benson famously made a pivot to creating porn on his OnlyFans after he became known for playing Zeke Beakerman in a recurring role on Wizards – and after a few shady back and forths David Henrie has now blocked him on Twitter. 

In a promotional interview clip where the cast of the Wizards of Waverly Place reboot are discussing who they think from the guest cast should come back and do a cameo, David Henrie notes Dan Benson’s inclusion. “I can’t believe you put one of these people on here, millennials understand that.” When Henrie reads out all the people on there, he notably says Zeke Beakerman’s name and everyone laughs. 

Replying to a viral clip of this saga, Dan Benson replied saying “David Henrie can suck my d*ck. I’ll pay him more than they paid me for Wizards I’ll promise you that.” Dan Benson then shared a video of him fake crying in front of a green screen screenshot of David Henrie blocking him on Twitter. Major yikes.

Before the Wizards beef with David Henrie, Dan Benson has previously explained how he pivoted into doing porn and OnlyFans after he saw his acting career and mental health take a decline. He has 473K followers on Twitter.

“I think that it’s super exciting that the fans get to kind of relive their childhood again and their old characters they used to love watching are coming back,” he told TMZ, adding that he “loved” the premise of the reboot. “The other side of me is very sad because I know for a fact that I will definitely not be a part of it. That’s all on me.”

“I made [the] choices that made it. So, it’s like I put the chance of bringing back the character I played away when I decided to go along this path of being an adult content creator and I get it.”

“So I’m very conflicted, I’m like super happy and also like dang it. It’s a mix of emotion for me right now,” he explained. “I think that I put them in a situation where they don’t have a choice. It’s crazy to be an adult content creator and it’s crazier to do it so publicly and to be a former child actor from a Disney Channel show.”
