Anthony Po is a YouTuber and content creator with millions of subs and a lot of followers across all platforms. After the viral saga of the Chalamet lookalike competition, he has just updated that he’s been landed with a $500 fine that could even go up to $750 maximum if he doesn’t pay it.
The fine comes from the Parks Enforcement of the City of New York, and basically explains “the event organiser was observed conducting a unpermitted event for a costume contest under the arch plaza with over 300 patrons on park property without park’s permit”.
This kinda links up to the footage of one of the Timothée Chalamet lookalikes getting arrested by cops at the event, with people on Twitter claiming he was arrested for refusing to move on when police told him to.
The winner of the coveted 50 dollar prize was not Chalamet himself, because that would be daft. It was a 21 year old from Staten Island who ate it up in a Wonka look. He said he’s spending his winnings on candy. Absolutely fair play.
