The 10 most Instagrammable UK uni libraries for your vibey study pics

It’s a truth universally acknowledged that one does not actually go to a uni library to study, but to put a pretty picture of the library on their Instagram story to pretend that they have been studying and are like an interesting and intellectual person. The AI company Hire Vera has calculated which the most Instagrammable uni libraries in the UK are.

Other than the Sir Duncan Rice Library at the University of Aberdeen, all the libraries are at Russell Group unis. This makes sense, as Russell Group unis tend to be older and prettier and more pretentious.

I have literally no idea why the Cambridge University Library has made the top three. I’ve always considered it to look like an evil dictator’s layer in a sci-fi dystopian series, but each to their own, I guess.

Unsurprisingly, the Radcliffe Camera, which is part of the Bodleian libraries at the University of Oxford, wins the contest. This library has been tagged a massive 52,506 times on Instagram. I’m pretty certain it’s physically impossible to go to Oxford without putting a pic of it on your Instagram story. No wonder Timothée Chalamet and Hugh Grant filmed parts of Wonka by it.
