Inside the life of Too Hot To Handle royalty Flavia, when she’s not back to stress out Lana

For the first time ever, Too Hot To Handle has had previous cast members return for a second time at the retreat – and one of those returning is Flavia Laos Urbina.

She’s carved out a name for herself in the Too Hot To Handle hall of fame, but outside the show her life is even more interesting. She’s super talented, is known for loads of different things, and is always around the world with work.

So, here’s an insight into the life of Too Hot To Handle star Flavia, when she’s not getting Lana worked up on the retreat.

Flavia Laos Urbina, who is from Peru, was first introduced to the world of Too Hot To Handle and Lana in season four, when she was a late arrival on the show.

At the time of her first appearance on the show, Flavia’s Too Hot To Handle bio said: “If our boys were dreaming of a Peruvian princess, then Lana grants their wishes when Flavia appears! Flavia boasts over 4million followers on Instagram so is never short of attention! This senorita will not take kindly to Lana telling her what to do so the guys and gals will need to watch out!”

Flavia came to the retreat the first time around looking to cause a stir, but it did seem that she understood Lana’s rules and came out better for it. She made it to the final episode, but didn’t win the show.

She works as an influencer and lives a very busy life

For her main job, Flavia works as an influencer. But she’s got her fingers in many pies shall we say, as she also works in acting and modelling, as well as being a singer. Ahead of season four of the show Flavia had 4million Instagram followers, but she now has a total of 5million.

In 2022, Flavia won the award of “Latin Influencer of the Year” at the People’s Choice Awards, and she’s also appeared in a number of TV shows in her career.

On her Instagram account Flavia shares her modelling work and has also been promoting her singles and sharing videos of her performing at festivals. She recently performed at Lolalolita Land in Madrid and did Rooftop Sessions with Adidas Peru.

Is Flavia dating anyone after Too Hot To Handle?

Obviously the cast members can’t give too much away, but Too Hot To Handle tends to be filmed well in advance to when the episodes drop on Netflix. Since the sixth season of show was filmed, it looks as though Flavia is single.

She can be seen on Instagram cosying up to a whole bunch of Latino singers, what a life, but it looks as though that’s all for work projects. Flavia had been in a relationship with singer Austin Palao, and they frequently feature on each other’s Instagrams. Flavia also made a cameo in one of his music videos.

Speaking to ABC Spain just before Too Hot To Handle season six dropped, Flavia confirmed she is single. “I am single and dedicating myself more to myself and my work, which really takes up my entire day,” she said. “So now, sharing my time with someone is super complicated. But I still don’t close the doors, right? You never know.”

It’s clear from her Instagram that Flavia travels the world a lot. Much of this is for her influencing and music work, but she definitely mixes business with pleasure a lot of the time.

She’s recently shared trips to LA, Dominican Republic, Ibiza, Thailand and Columbia. She’s a big fan of a photo on a plane or in the airport, tagging the luxury travel brand she’s been sent around the world with. What a life!
