Um, Logan Paul and KSI are being sued by the actual Olympics over Prime??

The Olympic committee says they have acted ‘in bad faith’

So, Logan Paul and KSI are being sued by the US Olympic and Paralympic committee over their drinks brand Prime.

Olympic bosses are suing Prime over trademark infringement, claiming Prime used trademarked Olympic phrases and symbols on a special edition of its hydration drink, featuring basketball star and three-time Olympic gold medallist Kevin Durant.

They claim Prime does not have an agreement for the use of terminology and trademarks, labelling the brand’s actions as “deliberate” and accusing them of acting “in bad faith.”

In the lawsuit, which was filed in Colorado on Friday, and seen by CBS News, Prime is also accused of using the trademarks in online campaigns and promotions.

The lawsuit claims people could be misled into thinking the Olympics has a relationship with Prime. Attorneys for the Olympic Committee called the company’s acts, “willful, deliberate, and in bad faith.”

“Prime Hydration has used the following Olympic-related terminology and trademarks on product packaging, Internet advertising and in promotions featuring a Prime Hydration flavour and athlete Kevin Durant,” the complaint reads.

The Olympic committee has issued a cease and desist letter but Logan Paul and KSI’s drinks brand has continued to promote the drink with the same branding.

The Tab has contacted Prime for comment.
