Jeremy Corbyn is coming to Cardiff Uni today

Yes, you heard right. Jezza is coming to Cardiff, where he will attend the UCU strike rally.

The rally will start at 11am outside the Main Building on Park Place, however, Cardiff UCU have said that if too many people turn up, they will be moving to Cathays Park.

The action comes as Cardiff University staff strike over pay, pensions and exploitation.

Cardiff UCU have announced a full schedule of events during the strike period, and took to Twitter to reach out and say “we welcome anyone who wants to come and support our strike and offer solidarity”.

Our members are going on strike for 14 days to protect their pay & conditions, beginning tomorrow.
