If you want to claim back money because of the strikes – now’s your chance
There’s an advice centre to help you get your money back
UEA SU have set up a UCU Strike FAQ page on the SU website, which shows you your rights as a student and how you might be able to claim back money for the disruption over the strike period.
Our student contracts "oblige UEA to provide appropriate teaching and learning support for your course with reasonable care and skill unless prevented by circumstances out of UEA's control".
The FAQ page gives you lots of options, from applying for extenuating circumstances, appealing marks, making an academic complaint or even take legal action against UEA for breach of contract.

The SU have also put out a questionnaire this week asking students how they think the strike wages should be spent, you can fill it out here to decide what should be done with the money.
