Perhaps the single greatest idea has been suggested for the 15th February in Leeds Beckett SU Meeting Room 1: a Valentine's day dog room. Forget the chocolates and the flowers, surprise your date by going to visit some good boys and girls.

The Facebook event states: 'Come meet our 'single pups'. Good boys and girls looking for some love. Come and play with our guide dogs in the Student's Union meeting room 1 in the Portland Building.'
Tickets are £3 and there are 15 minute slots available to select from 10 am until 3 pm. Tickets will be made available online on the Tuesday before the event.
