We can all relate to it: that one club in your home town everyone knows and loves. The one you feel you should move on from but however hard you try, like most people, you find yourself running back to the club’s open arms for what will always be a good time. The mighty Play Nightclub in Hereford is no different!

You know everyone

Despite the 300+ capacity, Play is still a small enough club to bump in to anyone and everyone. You could even turn up by yourself and see all faces you know that frequent the twin scene venue, and still leave having made a new Play family you befriended in the toilets.

Cages

Play doesn’t just provide you with two d-floors, an upstairs lounge area and VIP, it also has cages. Some may say it’s their favourite feature Play has to offer. We all have that one friend who insists on spending their whole night there.

When the liquid confidence hits after those two pound drinks before midnight, you know seeking solace of the cage to show off you’re new found dance moves to Christina Aguilera’s “Dirrty” will only be accompanied with those embarrassing ClubCam pictures, and a never ending Snapchat story.

Play 54

As well as the main dance floor, you are also blessed with the neighbouring smaller dance floor that is Play 54. With all the classic bangers and cheesy tracks, if you’re a Play regular you’ll know 54 will have you screaming at the top of your lungs, a performance that would no doubt see you off the X Factor.

The smoking area

Too sweaty from dancing, gasping for fresh air or even a fag? Venturing outside to the smoking area is the only cure. It’s always packed and you’ll rarely manage a spot on a bench, but it’s the place you’ll meet all sorts of characters and end the night going home with not only their life stories, but maybe even a new phone number.

The fast food

However your night ends, you can be sure it’ll be a happy one in the form of those obligatory cheesy chips or burger purchased from Play’s very own fast food stall. What more could you need?
