Giant ‘Juice’ blimp flies above Cardiff’s SU
It’s promoting Saturday nights at Y Plas
‘Juice’ organisers are flying a blimp above the Students’ Union as part of a marketing campaign for Saturday nights at Y Plas.
The first event will take place this Saturday.
Juice up
Previously ‘Juice’ spread pineapples across the streets of Cathays as a way of promoting the night.
A spokesperson for ‘Juice’ told The Tab: “We came up with the idea for a blimp at 4am whilst putting pineapples everywhere.
“This year we wanted to make people realise that we’re making Saturdays bigger and better, so we got a bigger and better balloon.
“It will go up every Saturday and lights up at night for people that can’t quite find their way.”
