I asked my flatmates to give me an end of year review
It taught me so much about myself
Everyone loves to picture themselves as the perfect flatmate, and this is even more true in first year. It’s the first time away from home, and you want to impress your new chums by going hard on nights out and attempting not to give yourself food poisoning.
With the end of the university year in sight, I asked my flatmates to leave me a review to see if I’m really as easy to live with as I think I am. Of the eight I’ve lived with this year, four replied (make of that what you will) and dished the dirt.
Flatmate #1

I just like to have a good time
Flatmate #2

I’m a food fighting party animal that takes rubbish disposal very seriously.
Flatmate #3

Geordie Shore, wey aye
Flatmate #4

Time to tone down the accent
The Verdict
By the looks of it I’m descending into alcoholism but at least my flatmates find it funny, which is obviously all that matters. Given that they often look the other way when I leave my dishes “to soak”, it seems like they’re not a bad bunch either.
At least I take the bins out.
