What went down at summer ’16 Pangaea

It rained

The summer Pangaea is always classic. You’ve just finished exams for the year, maybe forever, and you’re ready to get a bit loose.

It’s actually warm enough to sit outside and even walk all the way home if the buses are taking ages (which they always do). It’s also a special moment when it gets light at 4am and you share the look of realisation with your mates at how fucked up you actually are.

This year however we were graced with the presence of one of Manchester’s closest friends: the rain. But a bit of a downpour couldn’t dampen the spirits of most of the carnival-clad party goers last night who partied on in broad daylight getting absolutely soaked, in true Pangaea spirit.

As always the outfits were on point, with feathers and sequins everywhere you look, however it seems some people were slightly confused about what to wear to suit the theme.

Not sure how they fit the carnival theme? Neither are we
