The West Midlands is the least horny area of the country – according to obvious new stats.
A matchmaking website has revealed UK cities with the highest and lowest sexual appetite – but is your city on the map?
100,000 randomly selected people were quizzed on their strong desire for sex to see how much UK singles value time spent between the sheets.
And the grim corner of the Midlands ranked low on the list, with Brighton taking the crown for horniest city in the UK. The highest libidos came in the South, with only two of the top 10 in the North or Scotland.
Brighton, which is the home to the Uni of Brighton, Uni of Sussex and two colleges, has the highest number of horny singletons in the country. 1st year Marie Chatterton studying International Business at Brighton Uni said: “Oh my god Brighton is so horny. People only go on a night out to pull 100 per cent. Honestly you have to make sure you’ve shaved”.
The horniest city in the UK was closely followed by Edinburgh. London was third place in the survey despite housing the largest number of students in the country.

Birmingham and Liverpool were among the lowest scoring cities. James White, 1st year Economics at Birmingham Uni said “Can you blame us? Have you seen the locals!?”.
Birmingham Uni – which has a student population of over 30,000 students – has a reputation of being frosty. Last year The Tab revealed Birmingham students were the second-most frigid students in the country.
Stoke-on-Trent, Wolverhampton and Preston came first, second and third for least horny cities respectively.
The region with the highest concentration of horny singles was in the south with cities including London, Bournemouth, Bristol and Cambridge all falling in the top 10 category.
