Monday 3^rd March

Whether you have a keen interest in the oh so exciting world of student politics or you want to grill the “contenders” about their politics , go along to “Super 7” question time today, hosted by Speakeasy. If you want to ask questions, just tweet your questions before the event. It’s at 1.15pm today and there are food and drink promos available, in case you can’t make it through without a pint.

If you’re feeling (very) open-minded then you should check out ‘Nymphomaniac’ at 6.30pm in the QFT.  Directed by controversial director Lars Von Trier, it’s the last screening tonight of the four hour film, which is split into two parts. Tickets are £4. Be brave.

Tuesday 4^th March

Head on down to The Parlour tonight, for its Homemade Jam Tuesdays night! Admission is free to this ‘anything goes’ open mic night. Cocktails are on offer for £3 as well as selected beers and alcopops for 3 for £5, as well as other drinks promotions.

Wednesday 5^th March

Here it is again, the trusty comedy night at the Mandela Hall comedy club! Mick Ferry is the main act of the show tonight, with doors opening at 9pm and tickets costing £5 each.

Thursday 6^th March

Have you ever seen the Godfather? Have you ever seen the Godfather in the cinema? Well if the answer to both of these questions is, no, then you’re in luck! The QFT is doing a one off special screening tonight of The Godfather at 5.35pm. Tickets are £4 for students.

Friday 7^th March

Want new clothes but don’t have enough money to buy any? Then bring along your unwanted clothes to the Common Grounds Cafe in the Holylands this evening for a Wardrobe Swap! You can either drop the clothes off before hand or bring them before 7pm tonight (which is when the event starts).

Yoga has come to the Student’s Union for a trial month only! Ending on the 28^th of March, these Yoga classes cost £3.50 each and start at 5.30pm every Friday.

The results of the coveted “Super 7” election campaign will be announced tonight live in the Mandela Hall. Starting at 8pm, there are of course drinks promotions available. Then you can party the night away with your newly elected officers…

Saturday 8^th March

Settle down in the Speakeasy today and watch the Ireland V Italy 6 nations rugby match starting at 2.30pm. Scotland V France then kicks off at 5pm. Tennents are on offer for £2 a pint, with Magners, Stella and Becks for £2.50.

Sunday 9^th March

Watch more rugby today and don’t miss the England V Wales 6 nations rugby match in the Speakeasy or the Bot. It kicks off at 3pm!

If you don’t like rugby but love fashion, then go to the ‘Frock Around the Clock’, Total Stitch Fest today! It takes place at the Ramada Plaza, Shaws Bridge today from 12pm-5pm. This event showcases over 60 stalls featuring designer makers from all over Ireland, sellers of craft supplies, craft demonstrations and  Designer Fashion Showcase by UNIFY. Entry into this event costs £5.
