Police called as smoke is spotted pouring out of Barclays
Students walking out of exams yesterday might have thought they were witnessing a daylight robbery after smoke was seen flooding out of Barclays opposite uni.
A cash delivery G4S van could be spotted nearby, which led to fears the bank was being raided.

Police and firefighters rushed to the scene on Woodhouse Lane, only to discover it was a false alarm.

The smoke, which could be spotted all the way from the Parkinson Building, was just a security measure given off when the alarm was tested.
