Local man stabbed to death in block of flats
Two people have been arrested after a man died from stab wounds yesterday afternoon.
Police were called to a block of flats in Tuebrook, located in the inner city, after 48-year-old Karl Patrick O’Hara was stabbed to death.
Paramedics arrived promptly although police declared him dead at the scene.
A 33-year-old man and a 40-year-old woman have been arrested on suspicion of murder.
Tuebrook councillor, Steve Radford, raised concerns over the flats a while ago.
Speaking to The Liverpool Echo, Radford said there is a “disproportionate number of people with alcohol and other issues being placed there”, changing the character of the once peaceful flats.
A full investigation is now underway.
