The best of BU this week

What you might have missed

A lot has happened, so here’s what you might have missed.

Marsh Plaza was occupied twice this week

Students gathered on Tuesday to protest the impeachment of two members of student government.

On Friday, students met to show support for students at Mizzou, despite a threat made earlier on Yik Yak.

So we tied Providence College in hockey – for the second night in a row.

Not only did fans watch a great game, but also a Providence fan got thrown out by security.

CGS lost power and didn’t tell anyone

CGS lost power Wednesday morning and no one knew.

After they discovered CGS was closed, students went to grab their morning cup of coffee from Starbucks, but all they found was a note at the door.

A student senate chair resigned after a private blog post was made public

This just adds to many students’ frustration with Student Government.

Later, Andrew Cho, the Student Body President, also apologized for the incident and the issues in the Student Government.

One BU senior ran into David Ortiz twice in one day

Akarsh Vijayashankar had to go to the Bank of America in Kenmore Square and saw the Big Papi both times he was there.

Our four No Shave November guys are getting some scruff

It’s been two weeks and they seem to be doing all right.
