Here’s why everyone’s wearing those blue ribbons at the Oscars

We’ve seen lots of trends of the red carpet tonight, and most of them are basically just a parade of things that cost more than my life insurance payout. One subtle touch has a lot to say, though.

Kicked off by Loving star Ruth Negga, the blue awareness ribbons pinned to the couture of stars like Karlie Kloss and Lin Manuel Miranda are very visible signs of support for the ACLU.
