Stop everything you’re doing because ‘My Super Sweet 16’ is coming back to MTV

Get fucking ready because a whole new generation of glamorous brats are about to take over our lives — and we could not be more excited. Nearly a decade after its debut, the MTV has put out a casting call for a revival of the series, proving once again that everything mid-aughts is shiny and new again.

In a casting call for the reboot, MTV is on the lookout for boys and girls hosting especially lit Sweet 16s, coming of age parties, Quinceaneras, etc. with cast ages ranging from 13 and up.

My Super Sweet 16, of course, is a cultural touchstone with moments like breakdowns over BMWs and fights over who will hire Pitbull first permanently seared into our collective generational memory.
