Selling Sunset cast licensed

So, which of the Selling Sunset cast members are genuinely licensed real estate agents?

The fact one of them has an expired license is sending me

Let’s be honest, with some of the Selling Sunset cast members’ track records for selling houses I genuinely do wonder whether any of them are actually licensed real estate agents or whether they’re all secret plants.

I’m not the only one who thinks that either as back in 2020, Selling Sunset superfan Chrissy Teigen took to Twitter to bring into question the validity of whether the cast members were actually licensed or not. She wrote: “I will say, I look at L.A. real estate a lot and have never seen any of these people lol [neither] have our agents, who I have obsessively asked.”

Jason savagely clapped back days later in an interview with PEOPLE, replying: “Any insinuation that the agents on our show are not experienced, successful, or licensed, evidences a complete disregard for the facts. Even a superficial investigation would identify previous team photos, hundreds of millions in transacted sales, and more than 50 years of combined licensed real estate experience from these agents.”

That’s all well and good but who out of the cast actually has their real estate license, and more who’s the cast member who has an expired license? Let’s work our way through the list, but we might all be able to guess already whose license has expired…

Chrishell

I can confirm that despite her acting past, Chrishell is indeed a licensed real estate agent and earned her license in 2016, and it won’t expire until 2028.

According to The Multiple Listing Service, she’s been on her game recently as just last month she co-listed and sold a house with Jason for a huge $3.5 million.

Mary

Via Netflix

Mary obtained her license in 2008 and has worked her way up through The Oppenheim Group to become vice president of the real estate company. She’s a certified real estate agent!

Emma

Via Netflix

Emma received her real estate agent license in 2019, and two years later she joined the cast of Selling Sunset. According to The Multiple Listing Service, her most recent sale was in June for $1.7 million.

Bre

Via Netflix

Bre worked for Agents of LA and Forward Beverly Hills before joining The Oppenheim Group and gained her real estate license in 2019. She’s also been busy recently and sold a house for $4.9 million in June. The Oppenheim Group girls stand on business.

Alanna

Via Netflix

I mysteriously couldn’t find a license for Alanna and she doesn’t appear on The Oppenheim Group’s official website either… is something fishy going on here?

Amanza

Via Netflix

You genuinely cannot make this stuff up, everyone was roasting Amnza as the only Selling Sunset cast member who didn’t sell a single house this season, and it turns out her license actually expired in March 2024. Awkward.
