Everything that’s happened between Marcel and his wife so far, after she admitted to cheating

Marcel from Love Island recently moved out of his family home after discovering that his wife Rebecca had been cheating on him with a rapper. Here’s everything that’s happened between them so far.

There was speculation of cheating after screenshots were posted on Instagram

Rebecca was accused of cheating on Marcel by the mother of rapper Slim’s baby on Instagram, and she provided all the receipts. She also wrote: “Mind you, this girl @rebeccavierax was messaging me about a year ago telling me she was there for me and was so sorry for what I was going through and that we had to link our kids, a few months later when me and he split, my son’s dad told me she popped up on him at his London show and she was upset that he wasn’t choosing her last may, mind you, she was like three months married at the time.”

She also tagged Marcel saying that she “hopes you signed a prenup.”

Marcel moved out of the family home and deleted all pictures of them together

After Love Island star Marcel found out Rebecca was cheating on him he felt “absolutely devastated” and quickly moved out of their home together. A source close to Marcel told the Mirror: “Marcel is absolutely devastated. Rebecca was his life and he’d changed so many things about his lifestyle to make her happy. Everything he did, everything he worked for was for his wife and his son.

“The poor guy feels like he’s in a nightmare and he keeps hoping he’ll wake up. For him to know that Rebecca was telling another man she loves him, and then spent Valentine’s Day with him has completely broken him. He doesn’t know what he’s going to do now but he’s moved out of the family home and is living with friends at the moment.”

His wife put out a statement and admitted to cheating on him

Rebecca admitted to cheating on Marcel after she and the Love Island cast member married in 2022. She said: “By now most of you would have seen what’s going on. I’ve made a huge mistake, I’ve embarrassed not only my husband but myself and both our families.

“My actions were foolish and have hurt so many people around us but most importantly my husband. I’ve said a lot of things that I shouldn’t have and it was stupid of me so I won’t sit here and justify my actions, those decisions should have never been made.

“I want to publicly apologise to my Marcel, just as loudly as the rest of the noise. For all the hurt, embarrassment and pain I have put him through there is nothing and no one in the world that comes before you and our family. No one could ever compare.”

She then told Marcel: “I love you beyond measure, with no doubts, with no question, you are my beginning and my end my forever love. I love you.”
