Love Island All Stars Jake Cornish

Jake Cornish is getting paid £2k for his three day Love Island: All Stars appearance

That’s almost £30 an hour to be shirtless in a nice villa

Despite leaving the Love Island: All Stars villa just three days after arriving, Jake Cornish is still going to receive a massive £2k for just 72 hours of work. That’s almost £30 per hour, pretty good if you ask me.

The Daily Mail reports that each Love Island: All Stars contestant will receive £2k for each week they spend in the villa, netting them £12k if they make it to the end of the show.

A source revealed: “Everyone is being treated the same on Love Island: All Stars… there was no negotiation for stars of the show to take part despite their status and fan base. Jake will have only earned a total of £2,000 to be on the series, which isn’t bad for three days’ work but won’t have been what he was hoping for.

“There isn’t a cash prize for the winners either, everyone knows that the Islanders are already famous in their own right so offering a lump sum wasn’t what producers wanted.”

According to The Sun, Jake walked out of the villa late last night after discovering the public had recoupled him with his ex, Liberty Poole.

A source said: “Jake was really shocked to see Liberty in the villa – they had no idea the other person would be there. It was clear from the start they wouldn’t get back together, then none of the girls wanted to step forward for him.

“Jake had a nice three days in the villa and had a very emotional chat with Maya Jama. Jake couldn’t stay in the villa so he quit the show – it’s not his time and it’s not the right time to find love.”
