Not to be dramatic but, if I don’t see Olivia Rodrigo belt out love is embarrassing at an ostentatiously large gig venue at some point in 2024, my days might be numbered. Yup. Olivia Rodrigo just announced her GUTS world tour and everyone is scrambling for intel on how best to secure tickets. So, here’s what we know so far about the Ticketmaster action plan:

So, when and where is Olivia actually playing in the UK?

Olivia just added way more dates to her GUTS tour schedule, so there are loads of chances to see her in the UK:

Manchester: 3rd and 4th May – Co Op Live

Glasgow: 7th and 8th May – OVO Hydro

Birmingham: 10th and 11th May – Utilita Arena

London: 14th, 15th, 17th and 18th – O2 Arena

So, pick your fighter.

First things first, you need to register to even have skin in the game

Like with Taylor’s Eras tour, you need to be organised to get anywhere near securing a ticket and register ahead of time using Ticketmaster’s Verified Fan system on Olivia’s website. You literally just choose where you’re from, and sign up from there. If you’ve got an Amex, you get additionally early access, which always helps.

If you log on and can’t register – don’t panic. Ticketmaster’s website has been struggling to handle the number of people looking for a ticket (classic) but the deadline for registration isn’t until September 17 at 7pm BST.

If you’re lucky, you’ll get an access code or you’ll be placed on a wait list

If you’re blessed, after registration you’ll be selected from a random ballot and given an access code on September 20, which will give you entry to a pre-sale on September 21. But everyone else is placed onto a waitlist. Aka, hell.

Are there really going to be tickets on sale for as little as £20?

There’ve been reports that there’ll be tickets on sale to Olivia’s tour for as low as $20 (£16) but it hasn’t been made clear how many of these are available or in what country. So, according to Ticketmaster, GUTS tickets are going to range from $49.50 to $199.50 plus fees in the US, which is about £40 t0 £160 in the UK. However, none of this has been confirmed.

What will give me the best chances of getting tickets to Olivia Rodrigo’s tour?

Right, so in order to give yourself the best chances of securing GUTS tickets, there’s a few things you can do ahead of the release date: Make sure all your info on Ticketmaster (name, card details etc) is up to date so you don’t waste time changing it. Log in and sit in the waiting room for 30 minutes before the sale technically opens. And DON’T buy more than three tickets (this makes it harder to get anything at all)!!
