Heart of Stone is Netflix’s new spy thriller, here’s what the cast have been in before

Heart of Stone is Netflix’s latest spy thriller and follows Gal Gadot’s character, an unassuming computer tech who is actually an undercover spy, whose company gets threatened by a hacker.

Before you tuck into the high stakes thriller, here’s a look at all the actors who have been cast in Heart of Stone and more importantly, where you recognise them from.

Gal Gadot – Rachel Stone

Gal Gadot stars as the lead, Rachel Stone, a skilled intelligence officer who is the only thing that stands between her organisation and the lethal weapon that could end its existence.

Gadot told Netflix’s Tudum she wanted Rachel to be a character that could “fight” but also someone who could use their “brain, intuition and emotions”.

Gal Gadot is best known for her role as Wonder Woman in the DC Comics films. She has also starred in the Netflix film Red Notice, alongside Dwayne Johnson and Ryan Reynolds. Gadot is set to star in Disney’s live action Snow White as the Evil Queen.

Alia Bhatt – Keya Dhawan

Keya Dhawan is played by Alia Bhatt, a famous Bollywood actress best known for her roles in Brahmastra Part One: Shiva and Raazi. Heart of Stone is Alia’s first English speaking role.

Alia’s character, Keya, is a mysterious hacker who is set out to steal the Charter’s state of the art artificial intelligence.

“If you own the heart, you own the world. And clearly she’s here to disrupt a couple of things,” Bhatt told Tudum.

Jamie Dornan – Parker

Jamie Dornan portrays Parker in Heart of Stone, the leader of Rachel’s MI6 team. Viewers will likely recognise Dornan for his role as Christian Grey in the Fifty Shades of Grey movies. Some of his other projects include The Fall, Belfast and more recently The Tourist.

Matthias Schweighöfer – Jack of Hearts

Matthias Schweighöfe stars as Jack of Hearts in the Netflix film, the Charter’s tech specialist who is a genius with artificial intelligence. He has starred in a range of films and TV shows including Army of Thieves, The Swimmers and more recently, Oppenheimer.

His TV show roles include You Are Wanted, a German drama series, in which Matthias directed, produced and starred in. A jack of all trades some would say.

Sophie Okonedo – Nomad

Sophie Okonedo plays Nomad, a mysterious character that no one is too sure about. Okonedo is probably best known for her role in Hotel Rwanda, in which she received an Oscar nomination. The British actress has also starred in Death on the Nile, After Earth and Wild Rose.

Paul Ready – Max Bailey

Max Bailey is portrayed by Paul Ready, who is best known for his roles in Utopia, The Bastard Son & the Devil Himself as well as Kevin in Motherland. Bailey’s character is a member of Rachel and Parker’s MI6 team, and works as a driver and comms operative.

Jing Lusi – Theresa Yang

Theresa Yang is the designated sharpshooter in Parker and Rachels MI6 team. Theresa is played by Jing Lusi, who has had roles in Crazy Rich Asians, Gangs of London and Man vs. Bee.
