Good vibes and nights out: A look inside Scott’s life outside of the Love Island villa

I just want to give him a big ol’ hug

Scott has been in the villa for a while now and has proven to be a favourite amongst viewers who are defending him at every point on social media. The bombshell is currently single in the villa and viewers can only hope he will find his match with the next bombshell who walks through the villa doors.

Before he entered the Love Island villa, Scott had an impressive football career and even rubbed shoulders with a former Love Island icon. So just how lavish was Scott living before he entered the villa? Here’s everything we know.

Scott was a goalkeeper for Shelbourne FC

Scott was a goalkeeper for Shelbourne Football Club before entering the villa and has since taken a break to appear on the show. Since he was 16 years old, football has been Scott’s main focus.

“I was the youngest goalkeeper to ever play with the Welsh national team! I also got a call when I was 16 and playing at Swansea from the Welsh goalkeeper coach inviting me to train with the first team,” Scott said before he entered the villa.

Over the years he has played for Northwich Victoria, Runcorn Linnets and Merthyr Town. Ahead of his appearance on Love Island, Shelboune manager Damien Duff said Scott would not be returning to the club.

He used to date Paige from Love Island 2022

Scott and Paige Thorne had a brief fling before he joined Love Island but it was never anything serious. During a podcast appearance, Paige went into detail about how the pair knew each other, confirming their relationship was never that deep.

“Me and Scott were like dating. Me and Scott knew each other [for about] three years ago now,” she said. “It was like a talking stage for about three months and back then we would’ve been together but he had to go away for football.”

The former Islander revealed it wasn’t a surprise that he went on the show and she gave him some tips before he joined the show as a bombshell.

When he isn’t playing football he is out with his mates

Scott’s Instagram is scarce but from the snippets of his life he does reveal, he’s just your ordinary lad. From the looks of his Instagram, when he isn’t playing football he is watching it or is down the pub with his mates. A lowkey boy, things we love to see.

Scott is planning to move to Swansea after Love Island

Scott’s former fling Paige Thorne revealed that Scott plans to move back to Swansea after Love Island. Scott is currently living in Ireland due to his football career but is originally from Connah’s Quay, a town in Wales.

During the NotMyBagg podcast, Paige told the hosts that he had told her his moving plans. She said: “He told me that he’s planning to move back to Swansea after Love Island. I wonder why? No, I’m joking.”

He has a brother who has been singing his praises on the outside

Scott has one older brother, Jamie, who has been defending him while in the villa. After Scott chose to remain single after Casa Amor, while Catherine recoupled with Elom, Scott’s brother expressed that he was not best pleased with how his little brother was being spoken to on TV.

Jamie took to Twitter to defend Scott and wrote: “It’s sh*t seeing your brother treated like that on TV. Seriously, who does Catherine think she is? Let it go mate, move on ASAP!”
