Love Island’s Zara says she and Tom had a massive argument before the truth or dare game

This definitely adds a lot more context

Winter Love Island star Zara Lackenby-Brown has spilled all the tea and has revealed an argument between her and Tom that led to the truth or dare game being way more intense than needed.

Zara was sadly dumped from the villa last week and viewers having been pining over her, hoping she could make a return in a truly major twist. In an interview with Grazia, Zara has spoken all about her relationship with Tom in the villa and how loads of different moments led to their split.

During the game of truth or dare, where Tom said he would want Zara’s body and Olivia’s face as his perfect girlfriend, all hell broke loose – however there was a lot that added towards that.

Zara said: “Me and Tom had an amazing day – it was probably the best day we had together in the villa. We got ready for the evening and me and the girls were sitting by the firepit. Then Tom came storming over like, ‘Zara come here, I need to talk to you’. He was literally raging, I went to touch his shoulder but he squirmed away from me.”

Zara explained that Tom had supposedly been told by everyone in the villa that she fancied Aaron and had been using Shaq to make him jealous. The ex-Islander said she was “baffled” at the claims and attempted to assure him “she only had eyes for him and was in tears”.

When the game of truth or dare began, Zara said she went into it “feeling like other Islanders had been speaking about me and not said it to my face.” As viewers saw in the episode, Zara and Tom’s relationship went downhill from there. Zara went on to say Tom is “too focused on being the nice guy” and doesn’t realise he is “hurting people in the process.”

Zara also explained the argument in more detail while speaking to On Demand Entertainment after being dumped from the South Africna villa.

Despite everything, Zara left the Love Island villa on good terms with all the islanders. Speaking on The Morning After podcast, Zara said she believes Shaq and Tanya are the most genuine couple in the villa and hopes they win. Last night, Shaq and Tanya made things exclusive after days of saying they loved each other. They may as well get into a relationship at this point!
