We are very sad to share the news that officers searching the campus have found a body. We don't have any further details but we will continue to work with @TVP_Reading on the investigation, and with @UniRdg_Student to support our community.

Daniel's family had previously said that they believed him to be "a happy, normal 19-year-old enjoying university life."
The University of Reading held a vigil of hope for him on Monday in the bar where he was last seen.
Students, colleagues and friends of Daniel's attended a vigil of hope this evening in @RUSUtweets 3Sixty. Thank you for your continued support of the appeal for information, and to @ThamesVP for leading the search efforts pic.twitter.com/KKXYgqLdRY
