Is there going to be a Mormon Wives spin-off based on Whitney Leavitt and her family?
She teased the rumours
A spin-off focused on Whitney Leavitt and her family is being rumoured, as she’s quickly become one of few women left in their remaining marriages on The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives. She’s been on Broadway, Dancing With The Stars, and now a potential new show.
For now, there’s been no confirmation of a Whitney spin-off, but she has teased it. Even Miranda McWhorter‘s ex-husband, Chase McWhorter, is a fan of the couple, and commented on Whitney’s teaser TikTok video about a spin-off, “Americas fav couple.”
Whitney and Conner recently teased a big announcement, which was actually that Whitney’s DWTS partner, Mark, is joining Chicago as Billy Flynn in her Broadway show. However, she’s recently suggested she’s ready to walk away from Mormon Wives to focus on dance.
“I’m figuring it out in real time,” she told The Hollywood Reporter March 16. “We’re figuring it out together, but it feels like that’s the trajectory of where it’s going. I wouldn’t be where I am without it, but it feels like it’s time to challenge myself in other ways.”

There’s already rumours about a Mormon Wives spin-off involving Jen Affleck, who also went on DWTS. A source revealed Jen told her all about the spin-off at a party. They wrote: “Jennifer Affleck told me she’s staying in LA and has a spinoff. She told me this at a party.”
It’s been teased as to whether Jen will move back to Utah or stay there, and it’s apparently not just her who will be featured in the spin-off. The source added: “She said Whitney is involved too.” So perhaps Whitney is actually alluding to another spin-off altogether!
Conner wrote in response to her teaser video: “This may or may not be happening 👀.” Whitney liked the comment, while their co-star Miranda said, “I’m SAT.” When one person commented, “LEAVE IT TO THE LEAVITTS!!!!,” Whitney said it was “catchy”.
