Chelley admits she ‘regrets’ speaking about her split with Ace, and hints they’re back together

Love Island USA star Chelley announced her split from Ace less than two weeks ago, and now it seems they might be back together.
Chelley revealed she and Ace had split five months after leaving the Love Island USA villa on Friday December 12th, confirming the news during an appearance on SiriusXM’s Page Six Radio.
The host Danny Murphy asked whether the couple were planning on moving in together soon, to which Chelley admitted that she and Ace had split and “decided to part ways” five months after Love Island USA.
She explained: “It really was a tough decision for the both of us and very hard to decide. But when you love someone, sometimes loving someone means letting go, so I think we just got to that decision.”
Whilst Chelley didn’t reveal the reasoning behind their split, she emphasised it was from a place of “mutual level of respect and understanding.”
She continued: “We wanted this to work, but sometimes things don’t work. Couples go through things that are very challenging and sometimes the best thing to do is just make a decision that needs to be made.
Chelley added: “The details aren’t really necessary. I think we can be peaceful and just understand that we’re good with being able to be on the same page.”
However, it seems Chelley regretted her words as she admitted that she still has a lot of “love” for Ace after Love Island USA.
She wrote: “I’ve been sitting with a lot of feelings, and one of them is regret for speaking publicly about something so personal before I really gave myself the time and care it deserved.
“I love & care so much about Ace, & I’m choosing to handle our relationship with more privacy & intention moving forward. I just ask that there be respect and kindness on both sides, & that the hate and speculation stop.”
She added: “Moments like these are meant to be worked through in real life … not online. And right now my priority is peace, boundaries, and protecting what matters to me. Thank you guys.”
